The advertising and marketing business will be a good place to get a job in 2017, if a new report from staffing firm The Creative Group is to be believed.
According to The Creative Group, twelve percent of advertising and marketing executives surveyed plan to expand their teams in the first half of 2017. The majority (67 percent) of respondents said they expect to maintain personnel levels and hire primarily to fill vacated roles.
No executives anticipate reducing the size of their staff.
That’s not bad. Not many industries are anticipating this kind of expansion of staff in the coming year. The advertising and marketing business has been expanding along with the many new options for messaging provided by digital channels. There are career opportunities in digital marketing that didn’t even exist a decade ago.
No one knows what the future will bring, but for now the career prospects are looking good in this industry.
