If you’re trying to choose the perfect gift for a high school or college graduate, the results of a new survey might help point you in the right direction.
Technology protection firm Asurion said it recently surveyed 1,000 upcoming graduates with an eye toward checking their technology gift list.
These grads were asked to list gifts that would help them succeed in their new careers, and according to Asurion, traditional things like monogrammed pad folios and briefcases didn’t even make the cut.
According to the survey, today’s grads want Laptops (52%), Smartphones (12%), gaming systems (12%) and tablets (11%) most of all.
This makes sense, given today’s tech-crazy world, but we can’t help wondering who in their right mind would turn his/her nose up at a beautiful Coach briefcase? After all, the lucky grad can always use it to stow that precious iPad.
